e-learning using open source applications is title of Smartway's lecture in cooperation with King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology representative of the National Programme for open source systems.

Been through this lecture is the definition most popular open source systems to be used globally in the  applications of e-learning as the function of each product such as learning management system, and  portfolio system and social networking, system management and control of educational activities, in addition to the digital repository system and ilustrate the importance of the application of open source systems in e-learning and what are the obstacles and solutions in our Arab society.
